I also have a Zecco account, but have no where near the 25K for free trades... so I&amp;#39;m hit with $4.50 a trade.  I also have Sharebuilder account which costs $4 a trade.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;d like to get more into dividend investing. Based on your thoughts of needing at least 30 dividend stocks, what&amp;#39;s the best way to build up a portfolio with balancing purchasing costs and the fact that I only have around $150 a month to devote to purchases? Do I just buy a few shares of a stock in month 1, another stock in month 2, another in 3, etc? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If I take $100 and buy JNJ today at 63.65... I&amp;#39;ll walk with 1.5 shares after the $4 commission!  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is there a better way to approach this?
