I've been looking to find a good telecom stock for my portfolio, and CHL currently sports a 3.3% yield, 40% payout ratio, 30% five-year EPS growth, and around $3/share in FCF, despite a 20% increase in capital spending over the last five years. They have low long-term debt and are attractively valued at 11.8 P/E. Particularly when compared with the extremely high payout ratios of companies like AT&T, Vodaphone, etc, CHL seems like the best play for long-term dividend growth as Chinese internet and 3G/phone usage expands.

On the other hand, I cant find a lot of data on historical dividend patterns beyond 5 years.

Good Analysis.
